KUHN LEADS POINTS HEADING FOR LAST STRETCH BY SOUZA MEDIA SEEKONK, Mass.— With just two races left in the debut of the Seekonk Speedway iRacing Road Trip Tour, virtual Seekonk competitors will return to action this Thursday, October 1, with the running of the Fall Classic 150 presented by Bernier’s Liquors at Oxford Plains Speedway. The race will air to a live audience on Speed51.com , a proud sponsor of the Road Trip Tour.A total purse value of more than $400 will be on the line for competitors.

Oxford will become the first track in Seekonk’s virtual history to run a second event, with the first coming back in March, the Seekonk 250.Ryan Kuhn went to Victory Lane in that event, and it sparked success for the East Bridgewater, Massachusetts, competitor — who has won four of six races in the tour. The only other two drivers to win are Brandon Wilkinson (Lanier) and Thomas Axsom (South Boston), while Kuhn has been victorious at Southern National Motorsports Park, Irwindale Speedway, The Bullring at Las Vegas and Five Flags Speedway.Bernier’s Liquors, the presenting sponsor for the event, is located in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, and is a family-owned company that has been in business more than 60 years.

Peter Bernier, the owner, is no stranger to the racing community — he’s competed at Seekonk previously, and has been around for more than 50 years at short-tracks in the area.Currently, Bernier’s Liquors is the proud sponsor of Kuhn.Bernier is pleased to partner with Seekonk for the iRacing sponsorship.Kuhn leads the championship standings by 32 points over youngster Ryan Doucette, who has top-five finishes in all but one event.

Brandon Wilkinson, who missed the last race on tour, is third, while Thomas Axsom and PJ Evans finish the top-five.The driver who wins the championship will earn a $250 prize, while second earns $150, and the prizes continue down through 24th position. The total purse for the point fund is more than $1,000.Outside of Bernier’s Liquors, multiple contingency partners continue to support the iRacing Road Trip Tour.

Other contingency sponsors on the program include Watermark Electric, Team V Racing, Route 6 Auto Mall Kia, A&A Auto Parts, Atlantic Yacht Rigging, Anchor Paws Rescue, Trent Goodrow Designs, Bernier’s Liquors, Helger’s Southcoast Power Equipment, Lucas Milhaupt, Bernier’s Liquors, Circuit Cryptocurrency, Richie’s Insulation and Viper Graphics.Oxford, a tight bullring located in Maine, will play host to a battle that’s expected to be one of the best yet.

Kuhn and Doucette lead the list of challengers, while names like former Seekonk Sport Truck champion Richie Murray, Evans, Austin Flanagan, Trent Goodrow and more are expected to compete.Fans can catch the race live on Speed51.com around 7:40 p.m.on Thursday night. For more information on Bernier’s Liquors, visit them on Facebook. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit the track at seekonkspeedway.com and follow the track on social media.Share:.
