Nobody was seen entering or exiting the couple’s hotel room but now they were both dead.
The girlfriend was found in the bathtub strangled to death by her own pajamas.It was clear she had been murdered.Her boyfriend was found naked, crawling down the hallway groaning for help.He had 20 wounds all over his body including on his back – they were inflicted using a sharp, jagged edge of a broken beer bottle.
Authorities stated the boyfriend murdered his girlfriend in a crime of passion before taking his own life.
But nothing was adding up…
How did he inflict all those wounds on his back? Why would he suddenly turn on his girlfriend? Why did they have multiple different hotel reservations that same night in Bali? And how come his fingerprints were found nowhere on the beer bottle he supposedly hurt himself with?

From the video, it’s speculated the couple went on their 5 day trip to Bali for 2 reasons: 1.celebrate Li Chiming graduation from college 2.For Cheng Jianan (Li’s BF) to complete a trade regarding cryto currency.
Cheng was a big, whale in the crypto world and had 500 million dollars in crypto currency.it’s believed that it was a standard routine for the couples to hop to different hotels in southeast Asia in order to throw off any potential robbers that might be tracking them.
Authorities in Bali ruled the entire incident as a lover quarrel turned murder/suicide, but conveniently omitted to Chinese authorities, that there was a balcony to the couple’s room that could be accessed from the outside and had no security cameras watching over it .
The prevailing theory right now is that their are 5 potential people involved and that the killer(s) came through the balcony and tortured Cheng’s GF in front of him and then through her body into a bath tub, filled it up with water, opened a wine bottle and made it look like she was strangled by her BF.
They then proceeded to torture Cheng for several hours, via multiple shallow cuts and castrated him until he gave up his crypto recovery phrase to access his money.They stayed and waited for Cheng to bleed out and left once they though he was dead.
However, Mr.Cheng only pretended to be dead, and using whatever strength he had left, crawled out of his room and into the corridor, groaning for help for the next 23 minutes.Mr.Cheng’s groans were heard by another guest at the hotel, who alerted hotel staff immediately.
The hotel staff claim they went to find a wheelchair because they assumed it was an elderly person who fell on the corridor.By the time, they got to the scene, Mr.Cheng had succumbed to his injuries.
Second theory (More popular):
The prevailing theory is the guy (Cheng) was a money washer for a big Chinese money laundering organization called JY group.His job was basically to help launder money through crypto currency.However, he was skimming money off the top from them (~14 million) .And when they found out, they put out a hit on him.
And when they put out a hit on you, it’s often done in a way to make an example out of you.
Whoever killed Cheng would stand to gain a 150k from the kill.But they were instructed to make the crime scene as gruesome as possible so that the news would travel far and wide in order to instill fear in any other washers that got the bright idea of stealing from them.This is why the scene is is gruesome.Click to expand…Like this movie..
