Guarda is a multi-platform cryptocurrency wallet that has recently been gaining traction.In this review, I’ll cover the main wallet features and what you need to know before using it.

GUARDACO LDA, was established in 2017 in the European Union.Since then, it has made steady progress towards its goal of creating blockchain-related products – including the Guarda Wallet itself.
Guarda has started as a simple ETH Wallet.Nowadays, it offers users a range of services such as managing, storing, buying, exchanging, and staking cryptocurrencies.
Apart from that, it also facilitates loan and prepaid Visa card services.
2.Guarda Wallet Review
The
[Guarda wallet](/goto/guarda) is a non-custodial wallet that’s available on several platforms and devices.There are various wallet versions for the web, iPhone, Android, a Chrome browser extension, and a desktop wallet (available for Windows, Linux, macOS, Ubuntu, and Debian).It also supports over 60 major blockchains.
There is a wallet solution to suit everybody’s needs – and they’re all free.
All of the wallets support multiple currencies, which I will explore in a later section of this article.
All Guarda wallets are non-custodial, which means they give users full control over their own coins and, thus, full responsibility for their secure storage.Guarda claims that no personal or cryptographic information is being stored by the company, making the end-user the only person in charge of their cryptocurrency.
All wallet versions have access to exchange features and provide users with the ability to buy any of the supported cryptocurrencies with a debit card or a SEPA transfer.Naturally, you can create a new wallet, but if you prefer to just use the software, you can also easily import your existing wallets to Guarda.
Guarda shows a recommended fee for every transaction, but users can customize the
transaction fee to their liking.

Talking specifics,
the web wallet is accessible through any device that is connected to the internet and Guarda claims that extensive security work has been conducted to ensure user safety.
Guarda’s web wallet also comes with the capability to connect to the Ledger hardware wallet API.

Desktop Wallet
Moving on to the
desktop or laptop versions, these have the same capabilities as the Web version.
Usage of this wallet does not require registration and is non-custodial.

Mobile Wallet
Mobile Guarda wallets come in two different varieties, supporting the two most popular OS systems for mobile devices – Android and iOS.

Guarda Wallet offers a
staking platform, currently supporting staking for 15 assets.
Staking provides users with the opportunity to earn monthly or yearly returns on their wallet’s assets simply by depositing and holding funds within the staking section of the wallet.
Within this section, users can see:
– A list of assets available for staking
– The expected annual yield for each asset
– The minimum amount required for staking
– The required lock-up period
– Terms associated with staking.
To participate in staking, Guarda simply adds the asset of your choice to your wallet and deposits it in the staking section to earn a return.
Create your own token
One of the coolest Guarda features is the ability to create your own ERC-20 or HBAR token.This could be for any purpose you see fit – whether it’s just for fun, for business, for marketing purposes or more.
Referral program
Guarda provides a referral program that enables you to register a wallet to receive rewards and share your referral link.Some rewards are also available in Guarda’s own token, GRD.
By paying for things using GRD, users can benefit from discounts on the ERC-20 and HBAR token generator, as well as the Unstoppable Domains service.

Guarda supplies its users with an
extensive FAQ and a ticket system for more specific support.Their support team also answers pretty fast on Telegram – I received a reply to my own question within 3 minutes.
The company seems to be very responsive, making an evident effort to answer all comments, questions, and issues raised on public channels.Most users appear to be very satisfied with the product and the company, earning them a significant amount of positive reviews.
This is also evident in Guarda’s reviews on TrustPilot, which has more than
1480 reviews at the time of writing – 81% of which are “Excellent” and 8% are “Great”.
Notably, most users report a fast reply to their support requests whenever they encounter a problem.
A handful of people, however, claim that the app has stolen crypto from them.Without evidence of vulnerability or malware, the most likely conclusion is that these users did not correctly manage their private keys.
Other users report that they’ve received some extremely bad exchange rates.You may be able to avoid this downfall by checking exchange rates manually on other exchanges.
5.Conclusion
The company behind
(/goto/guarda) is working towards creating a decent ecosystem of products – now offering not only a wallet, but several crypto services for their users.It’s clear that the team behind Guarda is hardworking and competent.
They support a huge range of platforms and provide users with a toolkit for almost everything they need to do with crypto.
As with any crypto wallet, negative reviews do exist.However, it is unclear whether these reviews are substantial or simply the mistakes of the uneducated crypto beginner.
The Guarda support team of the company makes an effort to reply to all positive and negative comments, showcasing that Guarda cares about all of the feedback they get from users.
As with choosing any crypto wallet, you should exercise some caution with your choice – look for any reports regarding code issues and keep your wallet updated to avoid issues.
