Eamonn Holmes asks guest if she ‘likes to look like a hamster’
During Tuesday’s This Morning , ITV hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford welcomed guest Anastasiia to the programme to chat about the cosmetic procedures she has had.The guest also appeared via video link alongside Dr Steven Harris, who was on hand to give his medical opinion.However, midway through the interview Eamonn accidentally misheard what Anastasiia had said about her appearance and compared her to a hamster.The segment sparked a mixed reaction from viewers, and while some saw the funny side, others were left unimpressed by the presenter’s remark, branding him “rude”.

“Just looking at them, what was wrong with this lady on the left?” Eamonn asked.“Who you were?”
Anastasiia proceeded to explain she didn’t like how her face was before the surgery.She admitted she felt she was “ugly” before.
As she pointed to how her cheeks are now, she replied: “I didn’t my face.
It was like a hamster.”

Misunderstanding what she meant, Eamonn asked: “So, you like to look like a hamster?”
Anastasiia hesitated and smiled before she responded: “No, no!
“I think I was like a hamster because my cheeks were here, and now I have this line, you see?”

“You wanted them higher up and more defined,” Ruth chipped in.
Speaking about what surgery she’d had done, Anastasiia explained: “I’ve had botox.
“I have fillers in my cheeks.I have fillers in my lips.
I have fillers in my jaw and in [also] in my chin.”
However, Dr Steven had a difference in opinion as he raised concerns about the cosmetic procedures.
He went on to tell Anastasiia from a professional point of view, she had been “over-treated”.

One viewer raged: “Disgusted at [the] comment from Eamonn saying to [the] lady does she like looking like a hamster and calling her a monster.So rude and nasty.Horrible arrogant man.” (sic)
Another penned: “Why is Eamonn Holmes being so rude? What she does to her own face is her own business?”

However, some viewers seemed to see the funny side of Eamonn’s mishap, with one tweeting: “Eamonn!!! You are so awkward “So you like looking like a hamster?” and we can hear in the back Ruth saying ‘no, no’.” (sic)
Another joked: “Eamonn – ‘so you like to look like a hamster?’ best misinterpretation!!!”
“So, you like looking like a hamster? hahaha, Eamonn cracks me up,” A third penned.
