After the scam NFT bombshell that was CryptoZoo was exposed last year, the primary face of the product, Logan Paul, promised he would make buyers whole by offering refunds, and here it is one year later.

On his official X (formerly Twitter) account that was formerly used to ‘rug pull’ botched crypto-currency — such as ‘Dink Doink’ — Logan Paul has finally announced that he will start issuing refunds to those who have purchased NFTs from the CryptoZoo game—as long as you don’t sue him.

Today, I am incredibly happy to announce that I am delivering on my promise to buy back Base Egg and Base Animal CryptoZoo NFTs for their original purchase price. This buy-back program is being carried out at https://t.co/XIQzLAGKiG .Claims can be submitted through this site… pic.twitter.com/VMPDHvdXkq

— Logan Paul (@LoganPaul) January 4, 2024 A small recap for the uninitiated: since the turbulent 2021 launch of CryptoZoo , anytime anyone would even mention it, Paul would shy away and refuse to address the situation until a YouTube expose from popular creator CoffeeZilla came out and spilled all the beans regarding the bad faith nature of the entire project, and how not only millions of dollars was stolen from investors, but he included testimonials from the victims. The whole saga can be watched on the CoffeeZilla YouTube channel.

After the expose, Logan Paul responded, threatening CoffeeZilla with litigation based on defamation. It then took a few days for Paul to walk back his threat and issue an apology to CoffeeZilla, because the scam claims on CryptoZoo were based in fact (both, the apology video, and the initial threat video have been deleted).

A post from CoffeeZilla outlines this, and it can be seen below.

Logan called me.He said he’s deleting the two responses, and is dropping the lawsuit threats.

I believe he’s making a 3rd response, which I’ll be delaying my video to include.

Hopefully this time he takes accountability and refunds the victims of CryptoZoo.

That’s what matters.https://t.co/ElKX2d9mY0

— Coffeezilla (@coffeebreak_YT) January 7, 2023 Here we are almost a year later, and victims of CryptoZoo have finally gotten their wish, a way to refund their NFTs purchased from CryptoZoo , with a sea of terms and conditions that absolves Paul of responsibility in the whole matter.

Logan Paul’s Terms For Refund on CryptoZoo Claims for refunds must be made before February 8, 2024, to be considered for refund.Eligible NFTs for refund are CryptoZoo Base Eggs and Base Animals (those who are still holding ZOO coins from the blockchain — which there are 2 trillion of according to coinmarketcap — are ineligible).Moving the NFTs from the address they’re registered to on or after January 4 will be ineligible for refunds unless the NFT is moved back to the address it was registered with before January 4.Each NFT will be refunded for 0.1 ETH (Ethereum Coin, equivalent to $222 USD).Logan Paul himself is the sole entity that will determine who is eligible for refunds or not.By claiming a refund, you waive the right to make any claims against Paul or any related personnel, affiliates, agents, partners, employees, service providers, or representatives for monetary or equitable relief arising out of or in connection with CryptoZoo .Logan Paul admits no responsibility for wrongdoing, and “the Buy-Back does not constitute an admission by PAUL of your legal entitlement to any amount.” Although this is technically a type of refund for the scam that is CryptoZoo, it is, as Paul says, “With this buy-back program, I am personally committing more than $2.3 million to buy back Base Eggs and Base Animals from every person who intended to play CryptoZoo ” but the holders and buyers of the $ZOO coin are left out in the cold.

Logan Paul has also mentioned a class action lawsuit he filed in Texas with evidence of ‘bad actors’ who “DID steal money” from CryptoZoo , and it can be read here .

It’s worth mentioning that Logan Paul has not addressed any of the other crypto-currency he has promoted in the past, and judging by his actions so far, chances are he won’t..
