Yeah, the body is trying to do the exact same thing with the cavity introduced at the bottom of the abdomen, except it’s bigger, and surrounded by more complicated tissue.
Regarding your argument about lubrication, a neovagina doesn’t produce any natural lubrication, unless it is created from rectal tissue, in which case it produces rectal intestinal lubricant at the rate that kind of tissue pruduces intestinal lubricant.
But lubrication has nothing to do with why dilation is necessary, even in individuals with essentially inverted penises, which, again, produce no natural lubricant whatsoever .
A closed up portion of a refashioned rectal cavity will of course stop producing lubricant if it gets closed up to the extent that the body is trying to do in this case, but that is a side effect from failing to dilate, not the reason dilation needs to be done.
Or are you trying to argue that the body is trying to close it up because…It is trying to make less lube?

I have a friend who came out to me as trans, one of the few people they told, and we talk fairly regularly, about cryptocurrency, physics, recreational mathematics, theology.I’m happy for him that his hormone therapy is making him feel better from his gender dysphoria.I just don’t think that makes him actually a woman, any more than I think Rachel Dozelal is a real black woman because she has changed her skin color and applies hair product for black women to her hair..
