PROVINCIAL DAY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY.Since 2019, the people of Cordoba celebrate the Provincial Day of Science and Technology every June 18.It is a tribute to Alberto Maiztegui, the physicist and professor, who passed away on June 18, 2018.

Alberto Maiztegui was an inescapable figure in the teaching of physics and science in Argentina.He was always linked to Córdoba, but he was born in Gualeguay, in 1920.

He died in Córdoba at the age of 98.
