Arthur Madrid, CEO of The Sandbox (SAND), which provides NFT (non-fungible token) games, reported on the 27th that his Twitter account had been hacked.He urges people not to click on fraudulent URLs promoting airdrops or similar.

The official Sandbox account also warned users that Arthur’s account was hacked as of the 26th.
Hackers pretended to airdrop SAND tokens and posted fraudulent links.

The fake sandbox website tweeted by the hackers now appears to have been taken down.Details of the damage have not yet been announced.

In this case, funds were fraudulently raised in the form of a bogus giveaway scheme.“To celebrate 10 million KuCoin users, we will airdrop 5,000 bitcoins and 10,000 ethereum,” it said.
It seems that if you send the virtual currency at hand to the virtual currency owner, you will be able to remit the money, saying that you will receive double the amount.
KuCoin announced that it will reimburse all the funds lost by the victims.It also promised to introduce additional security measures on top of Twitter’s existing two-factor authentication protection to prevent such incidents.It also said it would work with Twitter to conduct a thorough investigation.

One of the most highly publicized cases in recent years was the July 2020 hijacking of Twitter accounts of prominent individuals and companies, including Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Binance and Coinbase.
