The EIB, the European Union’s bank is seeking to recruit for its Operations Directorate (OPS), Advisory Services Department (AS), Advisory Hub Division (AS/ADVISORYHUB), InvestEU Management and Data Analytics Unit (INVESTEU) at its headquarters in Luxembourg, a (Senior) Adviser*.

This is a full position at grade 5/6 for which the EIB offers a permanent contract.

Panel interviews are anticipated for end of March 2023.

In this post, you will have the opportunity to organise and carry out monitoring and reporting tasks, as well as to develop and maintain an overview of EIB advisory activities under the InvestEU Advisory Hub mandate and facilitate their implementation.To this end, you will keep an eye on optimising the mandate’s processes and procedures as well as the set-up of supporting systems.With a view to enhancing the understanding of the portfolio development and informing strategic orientation, you will look to analyse related data flows , and identify potential synergies within the mandate and with other Bank products.

To support this, you will keep up-to-date with the key needs and trends within the Bank’s operating environment.For specific tasks requested by the European Commission, you will also play a coordinating role in assessing and developing projects to address the issues identified.In addition, you will be involved in amendments to the advisory agreement with the Commission, governance matters and other ad hoc tasks.

As (Senior) Adviser, you will report to the Head of InvestEU Unit.However, you will also have the opportunity to coordinate and work closely with various stakeholders, both internally and externally.
