SPOILER WARNING: This article contains major spoilers for “There Will Be Blood,” the latest episode of The Flash Season 6.
The Flash may have just opened the door to the Anti-Monitor.In “There Will Be Blood,” the latest episode, Harrison “Nash” Wells revealed his plan to track down the Monitor. However, in doing so, he may have unleashed someone far deadlier, which could transform him into Pariah in the process.
At the outset, Nash extended a helping hand — for a price, anyway. The self-proclaimed “multiversal explorer and provider of scientific miracles” pointed them in the direction of a cure for Ramsey Rosso, the budding villain Bloodwork. In exchange, he wanted “an anti-vibrational crypto circuit to complete my work on this Earth.” He also claimed this was for his work in “thermic excavation.”

Nash led Barry and Cisco to McCullough Technologies, which had an “extremely rare bio-regenetive serum capable of healing organic tissue no matter what the harm” locked in a vault.”They didn’t develop it.They stole it,” Nash explained.”It’s from Swan Moon, the [Dominator home planet], recovered from some invasion three years ago.” This, of course, is a reference to the Arrow verse’s “Invasion!” crossover from 2016.
When Barry left to disable the security cameras, Cisco asked Nash a pointed question: “This serum.

Could it protect someone from antimatter?” Nash only shrugged.”I expect that goes without saying,” he replied.

As a result, Cisco secreted the serum away in hopes of using it to save Barry.Barry eventually discovered Cisco’s deception, then passed the cure along to Ramsey.Because Ramsey’s condition had worsened, though, it didn’t work and inspired the doctor to go full villain on Flash and Killer Frost.
Despite all the trouble, Cisco created Nash’s anti-vibrational crypto circuit to get rid of him.Nash took it and left STAR Labs, only to reappear in some subterranean tunnel. He inserted the circuit into his gauntlet and it pulled up a hologram of the Monitor, who marched towards a damp, rusted chamber.”So this is where you’ve been hiding,” Nash muttered.

With a smile on his face, Nash pulled a pickax from his belt.”Time to pay a house call,” he whispered.

He swung the tool at the chamber, and the episode cut to credits. What the Monitor is hiding inside that chamber remains a mystery, but we have a guess as to what — or, rather, who — that might be.
If Marv Wolfman and George Pérez’s Crisis on Infinite Earths is any indicator, Nash may have just released the Anti-Monitor into the Arrow verse, which could transform him into Pariah.

In the comic event, Pariah inadvertently summoned the Anti-Monitor and thereby launched the events of the comic.Pariah was one of the greatest scientists on his world but, as a result of his experiment to view the creation of the universe, he caught the Anti-Monitor’s attention. The Anti-Monitor used Pariah’s experiment as a tool to free himself from a prison made by his brother, the Monitor.

The Monitor snatched Pariah away from his world just before the Anti-Monitor destroyed it.The destruction of Pariah’s world gave the Anti-Monitor enough power to begin his quest to annihilate the multiverse.
Airing Tuesdays at 8 p.m.on The CW, The Flash stars Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, Carlos Valdes, Danielle Panabaker, Tom Cavanagh, Jesse L.Martin, Danielle Nicolet and Hartley Sawyer..
