After recovering from this shocking news, I have decided to so more research and find out exactly what happened to Splash Network.As a hard fork of Drip Network , the core dev named Bitcoin Brown has come forward and explained, that there was an EXPLOIT that was planted in the contract thru some loop holes, which was patched later by Dev team of Drip Network , but it was not done on Splassive, which caused a hacker to drain the contract almost empty leaving about $1 million dollars.The dev team have announced that they are doing everything in their power to re-launch the project, with future additions coming on its way.
At this very moment, no one can tell what is going to happen to the future of Splash Network, but as of now, our community has been warned not to make any further investments until we hear back from the dev team.
This very incident have caused great darkness over the crypto defi market, spreading negative vibe to many investors across all Drip inspired projects.
Is this really the only way of these projects can go?
Can anyone make a project that will sustainably provide all investors who are seeking after a stable passive income source?
Despite of a great launching, huge amount of hype, strong community based investors, and audit done to ensure no rug pull, Splassive has been torn apart with just one EXPLOITED bug.At this point, I cannot help but to think “What is the point of the audit?”

The South Korean Dev team have posted their reaction to the fall of Splash Network on Telegram.He stated this:
Posted in Official English Zombie Network TG So, if I can summarize this, according to the admin from Zombie Network , Splash Network was using an outdated code from the original code from Drip Network, which had bugs relating to airdrop function, which had to be patched and fixed with several updates , which the Drip Network already has patched all possible bugs loop holes, which Zombie Network is also using.He also added, “Since Zombie Network is using the latest version of this coding, there is no need to worry about the same type of attack from happening.
SECURITY + USE CASE Now, that we have confirmed the security part of this Zombie Network , there is one more important thing to check, the use case of BLOOD token.BLOOD is the token that is used for all Zombie Network staking, which can be purchased with KLAY token, on KLAYTN Network.In addition, as we take a look at the roadmap provided by their site, we can see that the use case of BLOOD token will be expanded to NFT purchases, which will be used for:
DAO Service NFT Item Purchase P2E Game Service As majority gamers would agree, South Korea makes most of the best online games that are highly successful.
If Axis Infinity was able to make their P2E game, which I am not a fan of, to bloom, then I believe Zombie Network , South Korean Devs, can bring much better gaming experience with their P2E game.As an investor, it is important to see which projects might have a brighter future for their native token use cases.Then what about their network? Gas price & network speed?
My first reaction to Klaytn Network was, “I’ve never heard of it before.” Than I checked the CoinMarketCap , and found out that currently Klaytn Network is ranked at #44 , with $3.1 Billion dollar market cap.
Klaytn Network is owned and operated by the major, I mean THE major, giant messenger company called Kakao, who currently holds 88.5% share of total messenger market in South Korea.
KakaoTalk vs Facebook, Line, and Telegram in South Korea Klaytn Network also has very low gas fee, being one of the cheapest gas fee on the market, which resulted in many new defi projects expected to be launching in the near future.Zombie Network again will be taking advantage of being the very first Drip inspired project on the network that is highly exposed to Asian Crypto Investors with huge capital.
I am not a pro investor, very very far from it, but in my short experience with crypto, this project seems to have it all ready and equipped for the trip to the moon.Again, it is just my opinion.
